Our History

Reeta Fashions was first established in 1951 in Maryhill Road , Glasgow . In 1955, the business relocated to it's present location in Gallowgate, Glasgow, where the business grew and grew.

By the end of the 1960's, Reeta's manufactured and retailed approximately 4000 coats per week, with a weekend staff of over 100 people.

Throughout the 1990's, Reeta's continued to prosper, due to the keen pricing strategies, range of goods available and good customer service that we offered.

Retail trends changed significantly during the 1980's and 90's, which resulted in Reeta's diversifying into niche markets. We now concentrate on supplying only special occasion wear.
